The shoes worn by John Walker when he broke the indoor 1500m World Record in 1979 are among items set to go under the hammer at an auction of rare sporting memorabilia tonight.
The auction at Mowbray Collectables in Otaki includes more than 200 items from iconic sports events both here and around the world.
