In just over two months time 10,00 athletes will march into the Trocadero Plaza, kicking of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
But 8x National surfing champion Billy Stairmand won't be there. Instead he'll be in Tahiti. That's where the surfing event is taking place.
At 9,800 miles, it's the furthest an Olympic event has ever been held from it's host city.
The Paris Surfing team was only announced yesterday.
Billy has already been out there this year testing the waves.
