Charity fashion show granted temporary liquor licence

From Checkpoint, 5:16 pm today

The charity fashion show that found itself at the epi-centre of the heated debate over alcohol and suicide has been granted a last minute temporary liquor licence for the event in Dunedin on Saturday. The police had opposed the application saying it was inappropriate given the link between alcohol and suicide. Tegan Rose Vickery is the Otago Polytech school of fashion student who organised the show this weekend to support "the Life matters Suicide Prevention trust " and she spoke to Lisa Owen.
