She sang the chorus hook for the record-breaking Smashproof single Brother that was welded to the number 1 spot for 11 weeks in 2009. Her debut album held off releases like the Flight Of The Conchords: So You Think I'm Freaky to enter the charts in the top spot. In November 2009 she played her first New Zealand show with respected band The Cardinals. Ahead of the show Nick Atkinson hung out with the Sydney-sider at her old work experience haunt, the Universal Music offices in Auckland.
