Damien Echols was one of the West Memphis Three - three men convicted in 1994 for murdering three boys in the US state of Arkansas. He was released after more than 18 years on death row. Damien Echols and Lorri Davis met in 1996, were married in prison in 1999, and wrote to each other for 16 years.
