A woman was sexually assaulted in Napier early this morning, police say.
Three people in a white van picked the woman up near the Ahuriri Liquorland carpark in West Quay at 3.10am.
The van's occupants are described by police as two Indian women and one Indian man.
Police said the two women got out of the car and the woman was driven by the man to a secluded carpark near the hockey grounds at Park Island where he assaulted her.
