Wiremu Arapo, 27, died and two other people were injured in the blaze in Cockle Bay on 20 October.

Police said two men, both aged 32, were due to appear in Manukau District Court tomorrow.

Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Craig Bolton said he hoped the arrests would bring some reassurance to the Cockle Bay community.

While police were not looking for anyone else in connection to the blaze, they were still appealing for any video footage leading up to, and during the fire.
