The lawyers of two men convicted on a series of rape, sexual violation, and drink-spiking charges have argued to continue their name suppression in Christchurch High Court today.
The pair were found guilty last month on 68 charges relating to drugging and indecently assaulting a number of people, mostly young women, at Mama Hooch bar.
One lawyer argued publishing his client's name may result in substantial hardship to a family member.
No further details were able to be reported due to suppression orders.
Justice Eaton reserved his decision, which was likely to be released in the next few weeks.
