Thousands of families lined the streets of central Auckland on Sunday for the 78th annual Santa parade.
About 200 floats and other features, and 4000 people, took part in the 2.2km procession.
Inner city roads were closed for four hours and a party in Aotea Square followed the parade.
The event has supported the Leukaemia and Blood Foundation for the past four years, raising about $10,000 annually.
