New Zealand pop singer Lorde will find out later on today if she has taken top honours at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
The 17-year-old has been nominated for record of the year, song of the year, best pop solo performance and best pop vocal album.
Rob Tannenbaum, a contributing editor of Rolling Stone magazine, told Morning Report that trying to guess whether she would win was a fool's errand.
“Predicting what the Grammy voters are going to do is like trying to predict what a crazy person is going to do.”
The award ceremony is due to get underway at 2 o'clock this afternoon New Zealand time.
Lorde will also perform at the ceremony alongside Katy Perry, Stevie Wonder, Pharrell and Robin Thicke.
