Ingredients
- 225g butter
- 170g sugar
- 2 dsp golden syrup
- 115g Weetbix (or flake-based cereal such as cornflakes)
- 225g flour, sifted
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground ginger (or spice of choice)
- 3 tbsp cocoa
- pinch salt
Method
Cream the butter and sugar. Add the golden syrup. Stir in the dry ingredients and mix well. Roll into balls and flatten on an oven tray. Bake at 180C for 12-15 minutes.
