Kale Mallung
Makes 20 portions
Ingredients
500g kale
1 red onion chopped
3 red dry chili
2 small green chili
¼ tbsp. mustard seed
¼ tsp. urad dahl
1/8 tsp. turmeric powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. cooking oil
1tsp buffalo curd
Method
Wash the kale and drain the water
Thinly sliced the kale
Heat the oil in a medium wok. When the oil is hot, add the mustard seeds, urad dhal and fry it for 30 second
Add the red chilli
Add the chopped onion, green chilli and garlic and fry until the onion turns lightly brown in colour
Now add the kale and stir fry until kale is almost cooked. While cooking add the turmeric and salt
Finally add the freshly grated coconut and cook for 1 more minute
Cool down and add some buffalo curd
