Nick features new albums from Auckland pianist Kevin Field and the Wellington-based Rodger Fox Big Band. Both albums were recorded in New York, at the kiwi-owned Bunker Studios, and feature all NZ originals.
Kevin's album 'Soundtology' features Kevin playing his own tunes with two quartets - Nir Felder (guitar), Orlando Le Fleming (bass) and Charles Haynes (drums) plus Mike Moreno (guitar), Matt Penman (bass) and Nate Wood (drums).
The Rodger Fox Big Band recorded 'You Gotta Know' in NYC after a trip to New Orleans to play at the Jazz Education Network conference, and is playing tunes by NZ jazz musicians including Callum Allardice, Rory Macartney, and Alan Broadbent- plus a classic from Supergroove.
