Before he passed away in late May, Rodger Fox recorded one final album with his big band. Fittingly, and perhaps because Rodger knew he was unwell, he gave it the defiant title "Alive in New York".
It's a combination of arrangements of classic pop and jazz tunes, and new arrangements of NZ jazz numbers - something Rodger had emphasised throughout his career.
