Computer generated sounds at the Karlheinz Company's "John Rimmer at 80" tribute concert, 26 May 2019.
Realised in 1985 on the POD computer system at Simon Fraser University, Vancouver.
Rimmer was inspired to synthesise sounds based on real-world models: birds, insects, volcanic activity, crashing waves, and humming telephone wires.
The work was awarded the International Electroacoustic Studios Prize in 1986.
