For our final "Sonic" Moment of Calm for 2024 we follow the birds to the flowers of our southern hemisphere Christmas trees, rata in the south, pōhutukawa in the north. There's plenty of birdsong, both native and exotic, to enjoy in this recording of a flower lined suburban street somewhere in Aotearoa. The fact that the indigenous and the introduced seemed to be singing in perfect harmony also seemed like a nice metaphor to round off the year.
