It’s not every day you get to be 20 feet from one of the world’s greatest performers playing one of the greatest concertos ever composed. For reviewer Rachel Hyde that was a reality on Friday when the NZSO was joined by violinist Janine Jansen featuring the Sibelius violin concerto and works by Brahms and Wagner.
