The Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra is all set to embark on its Beethoven Symphony cycle - rescheduled from 2020, which was the composer’s 250th birthday.
The nine symphonies will be performed over four concerts, the first of which is on Thursday 22 April with Symphonies 1, 2, and 3.
Upbeat caught up with the APO’s music director Giordano Bellincampi to find out how the orchestra felt to finally be able to give these concerts.
