Rock star student Toby Barrett from Avondale College in Auckland has been honoured by Cambridge Assessment International Education in its 2021 Outstanding Learner Awards.
Toby received the top in New Zealand accolade for the Cambridge International AS Level music exam, and he’s also a saxophonist with his own band, Toby and the Rest.
He caught up recently with RNZ Concert’s Nick Tipping.
