Young Dunedin composer Cameron Monteath is the winner of the 2021 Audrey Reid Composition Prize.
The annual award for an orchestral composition was set up in 2011 by the Dunedin Youth Orchestra with prize money donated by the former Audrey Reid Charitable Trust.
The winner receives $1000, along with a performance of their composition by the Dunedin Youth Orchestra. The orchestra is looking forward to performing Cameron's piece 'Two Variants' later this year.
