New and emerging writers of Pacific descent are being encouraged to apply for a new three month residency in New Zealand for three months next year.
Victoria University of Wellington's International Institute of Modern Letters is offering a Pasifika Writer's Residency in collaboration with Creative New Zealand for Pacific writers of all genres.
The successful applicant, individual or group, will be offered a writing space, mentor and a stipend of $NZ15,000.
The Institute's senior lecturer, Emily Perkins, told Sara Vui-Talitu that applications close at the end of July.
