Pasifika health providers keen for Covid-19 booster timeline

Pasifika health experts in New Zealand are keenly awaiting public health advice on whether the time between second shots and boosters will be slashed.

Some health experts want the six-month gap reduced with studies suggesting three doses are more effective at stopping the spread of the new Omicron strain - 13 cases of which have already been found at the border.

Cabinet is expected to make a decision on the matter this week.
