A lawyer on Norfolk Island, incensed at the way Canberra treats the islanders, is chasing a seat in the Australian federal parliament.
It will be no easy task for John Brown because the local seat is the suburban Canberra seat of Bean, 1800 kilometres from Norfolk Island.
But Mr Brown is undaunted and told Don Wiseman he is getting a lot of support from 1,000 or so Norfolk Islanders who will be able to vote.
