The Fale Malae trust in Wellington has received council approval to seek a resource consent for a multi-purpose Pacific cultural building on the city's waterfront.
Councillors voted overwhelming in favour of the trust's preferred development plan for the capital's Frank Kitts Park and for the preparation of a resource consent submission.
