Pacific people telling their own stories is a core value of the annual Pollywood Pasifika Film Festival.
The festival has seen over 100 Pasifika produced films aired over the past two decades.
Seven multi-media productions were featured in this year's event at three special screenings around Auckland, New Zealand.
RNZ Pacific's Tiana Haxton spoke with the festival's director, Craig Fasi.
