Deep sea miners engagements questioned in Cook Islands

There are concerns in the Cook Islands that deep sea mining companies public engagement's and sponsored community initiatitives are being used to try and sway public opinion in favour of the emerging industry. The Cook Islands is three and a half years into its "exploration phase" where companies explore the possibility of mining, including investigating potential environmental impacts.
