American author and intrepid record producer Ian Brennan has won Grammys for his remarkable field recordings with artists like Tinariwen, recorded in the desert of South East Algeria, The Good Ones from Rwanda, The Malawi Mouse Boys and two albums recorded in the Zomba Central Prison in Malawi, as well as albums with The Hanoi Masters recorded in Vietnam.
