1:15 Surviving the festive season sans alcohol
It's that time of the year when the drinks are flowing and a lot of the usual rules for boozing go out the window.
But it can be a difficult time for people who for, many different reasons, no longer drink alcohol and are trying to keep the festive spirit alive, without the other spirit being present!
Lotta Dann stopped drinking alcohol in 2011 and writes about it on her site livingsober.org.nz.

1:25 The gender divide on household chores, what happens with same sex couples?
Vacuuming, doing the weekly shop, remembering to bring in the washing...all the things that make up unpaid household labour.
How do you split these jobs at home? Are you happy with that split?
New research from Massey University reveals same-sex couples divide household chores more fairly than heterosexual couples.
Sociologist Alice Breban looked into this alongside co-author Glenda Roberts, she speaks to Jesse.

Harry Scott's mission is to connect tamariki with nature in a way that stays with them through life.
After struggling with dyslexia through school, it was in nature that things made sense. In 2015 he starting working at the Sir Peter Blake Marine Education and Recreation Centre and hasn't looked back.
Now he runs Barefooted NZ, programmes to get kids outside and stuck into the mud...learning about everything from firelight to harakeke flax weaving. He speaks to Jesse.

For NZ Live today we've got the super talented artist, producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist HINA.
Her stage name is shared with the Polynesian deity of the moon.
She's a classically trained musician who's music has been described as simultaneously intimate and far-reaching, weaving in and out of R&B tempos and subtle tendrils of jazz with a dusting of pop sensibilities.
She recently released her second EP Omen.
