Christchurch singer-songwriter Mousey – aka Sarena Close – is bursting onto the New Zealand music scene with a hiss and a roar.

Her debut single Extreme Highs – about “the emotional roller coaster” she went through when living with nine others in a crammed Christchurch flat – was a finalist in this year's APRA Silver Scroll Awards and she's just released her debut album Lemon Law.
Mousey pops into RNZ's Auckland studio to play some songs.
