Midwives are planning a strike and march on Monday to highlight their lack of pay and poor working conditions.
It's unlikely however, that many will actually be able to leave their live-preserving jobs without putting patients at risk due to the staff shortages they are wanting to highlight.
To explain the way the strikes are being co-ordinated to make sure patients are still safe while midwives march, MERAS co-leader Caroline Conroy talks to Jesse about they are wanting to change for their sector.
