Making friends can be hard. Making friends after the age of 22 is even harder.

Adult friendships often take a back seat to career and romantic relationships as we get older, but Psychologist Marisa Franco says that's a mistake.

Friendships are as essential to happiness. She says as we get older, new friendships don't just happen organically. She offers advice about important adult friendships in her new book, "Platonic: How The Science Of Attachment Can Help You Make And Keep Friends".
