Mark's consistency on the pitch made him a steady hand for the Black Caps and contributed greatly to the team's success in the early 2000s. He represented us in 38 test matches before retiring in 2004. By the end of his run, he'd become one of our most successful top-order batsmen, with an average of 44.77 runs and four centuries to his name.
