When you think of permaculture, you might imagine a very busy and productive garden that's a bit wild - probably on a lifestyle block or even a farm.

But Amanda Warren is a garden designer and says it doesn't have to be like that.

Amanda has an abundant and under-control permaculture plot, complete with-lawn mowing guinea pigs -  in St Heliers - in Auckland city.
