On the 20th of February an exhibition will open at Tākina Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre titled 'Disney: The Magic of Animation'.
For our Expert feature today, Jesse digs into the medium of animation: how is it done, how has it evolved over the past century, and where might it go in the future?
To talk us through it all Jesse is joined by Andrew Kunzel. His 30-year career as a digital artist and animator has led him to work on movies including 'The Lord of the Rings: the Return of the King', 'King Kong', and most recently 'Avatar: The Way of Water'. He now teaches in animation at Massey University's School of Music and Screen Arts.
