Critter of the Week: Karengo

This week, we're talking about a group of edible red seaweeds called karengo. Karengo is dark, sleek and slippery and grows throughout Aotearoa (and the world) on rocky coastlines in the intertidal zone. All species of karengo are taonga, and some iwi consider seaweed a delicacy.
