Eric Bogle has written many songs about the loss of war, including 'The Green Fields of France'. He describes the intense and emotional experience of playing his song 'And The Band Played Waltzing Matilda' at an Anzac memorial service in Turkey last year and sings it, and one other, for RNZ listeners.
