Time and Tide courtesy Tim Prebble.
Tim Prebble spent two months holed up in Little Huia in Auckland's Waitakere Ranges Regional Park. As artist in residence at Barr Cottage, he created works from thousands of photos of the beach and hours of field recordings of native birds.
Tim tells the Arts on Sunday's Justin Gregory that life on a lonely beach couldn't help but have an impact on his work.
This story, presented and produced by Justin Gregory with sound engineering by Ian Gordon won Best Documentary or Feature Programme in the 2014 New Zealand Radio Awards.
