KiwiBuild a 'welfare scheme' for wealthy - National

Housing Minister Phil Twyford says KiwiBuild is not a welfare scheme, and wealthy New Zealanders should be able to access it, along with everyone else. This comes after it was revealed a group of pre-approved buyers declared they could raise up to $650,000 - the total price of the most expensive KiwiBuild home.
