Whakaari White Island eruption: Some tourists with critical injuries

St John Ambulance has confirmed that some patients on White Island are in a critical condition.

St John's Director of Operations Norma Laine told RNZ reporter Katie Doyle several have burns and will be transported to hospitals in the region.
