Soldiers involved in unlawful killing and treatment of civilian

The four-year inquiry of the Australian Defence Force into alleged war crimes in Afghanistan has now moved into the criminal investigation stage. The report found 25 current or former soldiers were involved in the unlawful killing of 39 civilians and the cruel treatment of two others between 2005 and 2016.
