Covid could still cancel Christmas in Sydney - despite New South Wales recording its lowest one-day rise in cases in three days. A quarter of a million people are part way through a five day lockdown following the outbreak in Sydney's northern beaches. New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejikilian says 90 cases are now linked ot the cluster, but new infection numbers are promising.
