The tentacles of Covid Delta have forced more Waikato towns into lockdown tonight, with the level 3 boundary moving further south.
There were 29 new cases today, five of those in Waikato. All the new Waikato cases are linked, and only four of the Auckland cases are unlinked.
Waitomo, Waipā and Ōtorohanga districts join Hamilton, Raglan and other towns in alert level 3 - as Delta continues its slow march out of Auckland.
