Officials are still trying to reach those who haven't done this year's Census, with community events and incentives.
The final deadline to complete the Census is tomorrow at 5pm.
The unofficial participation rate is sitting around 89 percent, just short of the 90 percent target. So over the next 24 hours, officials are hoping around 51,000 New Zealanders fill out the form.
