A hard working Hamilton Christmas tree is a little on the tired side and needs a pretty pricey zhoosh up if its going to stay on duty for years to come. The iconic tree, that is the tallest in country at 27 metres or six stories high, has already put in more than 15 years of festive service but its frame is aging and patching it will cost around $120,000. The Hamilton Christmas Tree Trust has set up a Give a little page to fundraise for the work. It's spokesperson, Rebecca Aston spoke to Lisa Owen.
