Off-shore online stores disrupting kiwi shopping habits

New Zealand Post e-commerce data shows we spent more than 6 billion dollars on line last year, a five percent bump on the year before. Overseas online transactions are growing at a faster rate than domestic, but the average offshore spend is falling. Online department and variety stores like Temu, saw the single biggest increase in purchases, with a 33 percent jump on 2023 figures. Managing Director of First Retail Group Chris Wilkinson spoke to Lisa Owen.
