How much can you make investing in Lego, whisky, or handbags?

Could the foundations of a Lego masterpiece also be the building blocks of a top notch financial portfolio? Apparently diversification into so called passion assets can in some cases deliver very competitive returns. University of Auckland finance lecturer Gertjan Verdickt spoke to Lisa Owen.
