Shakespeare compulsory for seniors in draft English curriculum
The draft Year 7-13 English curriculum comes with a list of "suggested" texts including the World War Two speeches of Winston Churchill and Martin Luther King's ''I have a dream speech." It says at all year levels "students must experience historical and contemporary texts that are widely regarded as high quality."
