Liberal Party suffers worst election defeat in 80 years

Recriminations are under way about how the conservative opposition led by the Liberal Party suffered a humiliating election defeat at the weekend, the worst in 80 years.The soul searching comes as victorious Labor Prime Minister Anthony Albanese basks in his landslide win, after earlier bets that he'd be unlikely to form a majority government.
