NZ grocery prices cheaper than UK and Australia - Woolworths

Woolworths claims supermarket competition is intense in New Zealand despite conceding the top two players still have about eighty percent of the market. It claims contrary to popular misconceptions, New Zealand's grocery prices are cheaper than those in the UK and Australia, but the snag is only taking GST out of the equation. Woolworths has released a paper with its take on competition in response to government moves to crack down on the supermarket duopoly.
