Auckland Museum looking at cutting 30 jobs

Jobs are one thing Auckland Museum is struggling to preserve. The museum has said significant financial pressure could mean 30 positions have to be cut. It is facing a huge bill for an unexpected asbestos clean up after the potentially toxic material was discovered in some of the most popular galleries, with some areas still off limits.
